Bemidji Medical Equipment was established in 1987 as primarily an oxygen service provider, to provide care for the patients served by North Country Regional Hospital. Starting with one storage room in the hospital, which we quickly outgrew. Our new store was constructed in 1990 and our delivery fleet now has four vehicles serving Bemidji and the surrounding communities.

As the health care programs moved patients home "sicker and quicker," we grew to meet the needs of the customers to recoup in their own homes. Hospital beds, wheelchairs, and commodes were added to our services, quickly followed by ostomy and incontinent products, compression garments, breast prosthetics, and CPAP devices.

The staff at Bemidji Medical Equipment pride themselves on keeping abreast of the new products available, and also the reimbursement guidelines related to insurance carriers. Feel free to call with any questions or concerns and we will do our very best to meet your needs.
