Cliff Christianson
Cliff Christianson is with Bemidji Medical Equipment, Inc. to help with sales and marketing of lift systems and other product that BME handles.  Since 2004 he has worked in the sales industry not only as sales representative but also a supervisor to help train and commit employees to a high level of success in sales.  He is a graduate of North Dakota State University with a B.S. degree in microbiology and studies in biotechnology and chemistry, which is closely united with the medical and healthcare field, and expanded his desire to help people. He grew up in Valley City, ND and went to Valley City High School enjoying sports such as football and golf.  He currently lives in Fargo, ND and it will be his base for operations as he travels throughout the upper Midwest region.  A few of his hobbies include hunting in the fall, fishing, waterskiing, and golfing during the summer, and snowmobiling, skiing, and watching football in the winter.


Paul Andreas
Paul Andreas came to us from Omaha Nebraska He is a graduate of Bemidji State University. He took an interest in field of respiratory therapy after the birth of his daughter who received a lot of medical attention when she was young. Paul started his career with Bemidji Medical Equipment in September of 1989 and began working at North Country Regional Hospital the following year. After working with the respiratory staff, and being shepherded along through training from the doctors and department director Gary Johnson, he graduated from California College for Respiratory Care in 1994. Later that same year passed a National Board of Respiratory Care test and became a Certified Respiratory Therapist Technician. Paul is a member of the American Association for Respiratory Care, National Board of Respiratory Care, and the Minnesota Society for Respiratory Care. He takes part in many continuing education classes bringing the latest innovations in home respiratory care right here to the Bemidji Area.
 
Paul is married, has two children, and lives in the Blackduck area. He very much enjoys camping and bike riding with his family, as well as fishing, and some hunting. He has been the youth group leader in his church for the past 20 years and has been serving as a substitute minister once or twice each month. Paul also serves as the Co-Chair of the Employee Relations Committee for the North Country Health Services Foundation.


Andy St. Peter
Andy St. Peter, RRT RCP has been employed at Bemidji Medical Equipment since 2007. He is a 1997 graduate of Bemidji High School and a 2006 graduate of St. Paul College, where he earned his A.A.S. in Respiratory Therapy. Having recently passed a rigorous test to become a Registered Repertory Therapist his skills are as current as possible. He spends his days helping patients with their medical equipment needs. As a Respiratory Therapist he has extensive training in oxygen and CPAP therapies. Andy volunteers his time as a member of the Alaska township fire department. He makes his home north of Bemidji along with his wife and son. Spending time with his family tops his list of great activities. It is best not to be in front of him during paint ball.  He also enjoys traveling, the out of doors, the Wild and the Vikings.

Julie Flathers
RN, BSN, BCIAC, Safe Patient Handling Consultant
Julie received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Bemidji State University in 1998. For 8 years, she worked for Beltrami County Public Health where she produced and hosted a TV program called "Living Well". From 2000 to 2008, Julie was the Employee Health Coordinator at NCHS where she worked to implement a successful Safe Patient Handling Program. Employee Injuries and Workers Compensation costs dropped significantly from 2001-2008. Currently, Julie is the Safe Patient Handling Nurse Consultant at Bemidji Medical Equipment where she consultants with organizations who are implementing Safe Patient Handling Programs. Julie is also a Biofeedback Therapist at Peak Performance where she helps patients reduce pain and stress levels. Julie and her husband have lived in Bemidji for over 25 years. She enjoys biking, canoeing, skiing, reading and spending time with family and friends.
